The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the traditional Japanese cuisine served for breakfast included and dinner, to the comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Moreover, the hotel offered great value for money, with affordable prices for such a delightful experience. I also loved that the basic amenities were provided, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

Getting to the hotel is easy- just take the cable car down to Gora station, then walk down to the ryokan. The hotel location is good, near the public transport, but be prepared to spend evenings in the hotel as public transport ends around 19. The room is comfortable and the staff is friendly and English-speaking. The onsen is for shared use but the lack of people makes it enjoyable.

The curtains let through too much light in the morning, so if you're sensitive to light, bring an eye mask.

We had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful despite their limited English skills. The rooms were spacious and clean with towels provided. The hotel's onsen areas were a highlight, with two alternating baths for men and women. They also provide kimonos for guests to wear throughout the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner provided, and the hotel's location was easily accessible by cable car to Gora station.
